  Countryfile is a programme which is as relevant to countryside living as the X-factor is to real music. It's a programme for urban dwellers who occasionally drive down the motorway and see green fields and wonder what on earth goes on. It tends to concentrate on BMX tracks in beautiful locations, organic yoghurt production in the Shetlands and other crucial issues such as white water rafting - how green is it really?
  The other thing is that it has an agenda straight from the office of climate change and gravity and paper knitting. It always puts the wind farm angle in a positive way when we all know they don't work and lately they have been particularly scornful of fracking which is one small way the UK can earn some money to get us out of the mire labour, the greens and other creationists have left us in.
  Goodness me they even used that old canard about setting fire to tap water to "Highlight the Dangers"...........
  Countryfile - A programme targeted at the same demographic as the One show.
