    we have all read that 10 new nuclear power stations are planned in the UK, not one at the old dungeness site.

    the reason being the natural beauty and wildlife of the area.

    1) the old power station is still there, so forget the natural beauty bit.
    2) the wildlife co-existed for decades with dungeness b.

    our old friend former conservative leader and one time prime ministerial candidate,michael howard is kicking up a stink beacuse of the effect on jobs in the area.
