I wonder, just for the sake of the discussion, what size the investment would have to be in order for an annual fuel bill to be off-set sufficiently by the dividend?
Is this what makes it sensible to lower the fuel tariff the more the usage rises? So having everything switched on and the thermostat set permanently high, the out-door pool giving off the mists of 'mellow-fruitfulness' the whole day through might lead to an actual profit, where the energy supply company ends up paying the householder-investor to live in permanent plenty?
