  the plot thickens alex, about 20 minutes after i posted i went outside to see what was going on and a lady policeperson was at the end of my gate and explained that the party was by invitation only and they had now removed the uninivited.
  
  she enquired if i was o.k. of course i said yes as i was rather impressed by the speed and effectiveness of the response.
  
  just after the police left it was incumbent on the adult females all clad in miniskirts to sit collectively on the kerb and behave rather loudly.
  we have all heard the song "just a song at twilight" this was just a thong at midnight.
  
  the bill were present but could not do much under present guidelines, policing now is more about not upsetting the community.
  
  anyway i thought to myself i will march down clarendon place to enquire why so much noise was going on, there was a group of people gathered around a range rover, i went across and just stared at them whereupon one young gentleman asked "if i was alright".
  
  i replied that i would be if he took his greasy mitts off of my jam jar.
  
  the assembled throng then went into a thrall of respect that i should own such a magnificent vehicle, will recount the dialogue to my fellow
  bus passengers on the morrow.
