Excuse the rant.... but wondering if anyone else on this forum has had any luck in getting the authorities to pay attention to mid-to-low level drug dealers operating from their homes.
In my case, the guy involved lives on my street and makes 8-12 trips every evening, each trip preceded by texts, stuffing items into his pockets and door compartments within his car. It is extremely obvious to everyone on the street what he's up to and he is known to people for dealing Class A substances. We have filed reports to 'CrimeStoppers' over the past 2 years but this has not yielded any action from the police. To add to the annoyance, he also has a wonderful aftermarket exhaust... a true delight to listen to during the evening!
The individual lives with his kids who will soon be aware of his antics. His landlord isn't interested on the impact this has on the street and the benefit fraud / tax office clearly do not have the motivation to look through his finances. If they did, then they would find that he is topping up his free rent, council tax, school meals, tax credits and whatever else they dish out these days with drug money.
