No doubt many of you will have been aware of DHB's recent smear campaign against Goodwin Sands SOS, claiming that not being able to dredge the Goodwins will cost Dovorians £1/2 bn in lost revenue. However, it now transpires that while this campagin was underway, DHB had already arranged to source the first 500,000 cubic metres of aggregate, required for works starting next month, from an area in the Outer Thames Estuary, newly licenced to Westminster Gravels Ltd, who are part of Volker Stein Boskalis Westminster (VSBW), DHB's contractors on DWDR.
So clearly, DWDR is not dependent on Goodwin Sands sand after all and the allegations against us are completely unfounded (which of course we knew all along!). Several of our supporters have already complained to the Adverstising Standards Agency on our behalf. If more of you felt like doing the same, the relevant link is

In the meantme, our total petition numbers are just short of 15,000 which is a fantastic achievement! Please do keep on sharing this link with everyone you can think of and more, to ensure we get there by our target date of 1st September.
