Frankly it's time the MMO got some cojones & made a decision whatever the outcome.

It's indecisiveness is having detrimental effects on Dover's progress.

If they decide to refuse then at least DHB can deliver alternative suppliers quickly, if DHB get the go ahead then we'll know pretty quickly whether a judicial review is being sought.

The present merry go round of asking for more then going through another phase of consultation followed by an interminable wait which leads to further analysis is the civil servants method of trying to get off the hook.

    This is no longer acceptable.

The Secretary of State should step in now & say this is the end of the process. Make a decision.

Good to see you have finally showed your cards.

As someone who previously stated the Goodwins should not be dredged it must have come as a shock that the Royal Haskoning consultation with Dover District Council's name all over it has been proved flawed and the quiet 'No Objection' from DDC has been met with such opposition. Dredging could have far greater detrimental effects on the district as a whole. If you are worried about "Dover's progress" then help them source the aggregate from a more reputable supplier. There is a phrase I am sure you are a custom to which goes, "Don't **** on your doorstep"
