there was some activaty on shakespere cliff at lunch time today [around noon].the police helicopter spent some time hovering a short distance from cliff,it looks like some one was considering jumping off.police and coastguard on ground talking to the person to change there mind.

good news he was brought down safely and put into a police car.just hope the lad gets the right treatment.the whole thing lasted about 90 minuits or so.

bit of a relief to hear that brian, it does seem like he needs treatment and/or care.

yes howard,he was aged at or about 15 years old,and the worst thing was the tide was out at the time so would have well and truly batterd at the the bottom of the cliff if he had jumped.

to add to the above post #9 a video of the incident has been posted on facebook by some one else,in which a more clearer picture of the lad can be seen.
