Doubt Tonbridge will bring many but hopefully the crowd will get towards a 1000. Segregation today so River end and Main stand for us.

It was very cold up there over 1000 was there to see Dover go down 0.1 in ex time it was a very good match,Dover should have been 3 up by half time ,the ball went over around hit the post but just would not go in.The 90mins was up I said there is always a goal when I walk away, and that was true again walking down the hill and yes a goal but not for Dover.

Yes got it wrong about the Curry and the match result, I thought we would go out and get revenge for Boxing Day but Vic is right we should have been three up in the first half. Tonbridge defended well and were good on the break and got the lucky break in injury time.
It was one of those games when the ball will not go in and you just know the the opposition will be the ones to get the break, some may even say they deserved it.
Anyway on to Saturday and lets hope we can get back to winning ways and of course the free Curry.

But t was a very good match with lots of good football from end to end,and that was needed on a day as cold as it was,Dover still need some taller players and players that can keep going and going to the very end if that be 95mins or more they still need to do it,Their goal came because some of the Dover players could not do just that.Dover number 8 is one that can keep going so the rest must follow and do the same.

It was a good game Vic and with one little bit of luck one of our chances would have gone in and we would have gone on to get 2 or 3, even after their 92nd minute goal our No 8 Daryl McMahon beat the keeper all ends up with a free kick that rattled the cross bar, was just not our day. But I thoroughly enjoyed the game as did my son and grandson, it is what New Years Day's are for

YES
Although points were lost you don't mind so much if the effort is there
I realy rate that number 8 have said so since he arrived.
His work rate his 100% every game
When the leaders salisbury tore Dover apart at crabble, the number 8 played out of hi skin on of the few that day that did

It was a good game and we had our chances, good ones at that but some times it is just not your day and that was one of them. The team are giving their all now and Daryl McMahon stands out as does Ricky Modeste who we missed yesterday through a one match suspension (5 yellow cards) he gives us more width which we did lack.
The sad thing about yesterday was that we had a crowd of well over 1000 with only about 40 from Tonbridge and we lost the game, so I suspect we will be back down to around 800 this Saturday against Staines.

The drop on a weekend is understandable Harry, so many of those that attended yesterday on a Bank Holiday will be working Saturday, including myself, that is a fact of life, hopefully though we will get back up to the 1000 at home games and 1200 or so for Bank Holiday games.

I am hoping to get there with some of my mates.I will not be eating any of the free currys it is one of the foods I can not eat,so it will be my chips and Hot drink of Bovil which they run out of at the last match,I did get one of them went back to get more later because it was so cold and they have runout, also must not eat anymore mars bars, the fun of eating great things is slowly being taken away from me.Bread and water soon (AH) I must not eat to much bread to.
