Post 12 is correct but the independents and tories joined forces to be the administration because they had the majority vote there were 6 vacancies as not enough candidates and so co opted 6 more indies/tories.
Since this time indies have resigned, split from the tories, and we have a very shaky run Town council.
Many there just for the name Cllr before there name, others for the social side, then we know the rest.
So hopefully if you don't wish to have the same councillors next time round in 2 years you should be organising alternatives now. Otherwise this will all continue to be debated after the next election in 2 years.

A quickie on the car, I'v read the report on here and P Wallace who may well be against the mayor having a car? not only did he not explain an alternative, but he didn't move anything at the meeting.
His labour group moved a cheaper option of a leased car.
And the discussion was based around a leased car or a brand new one which the mayor wanted brought outright.
So whilst Cllr Wallace may have been against the car in total, I did ask him for him for his

alternatives with no reply, and he didn't move any motion on the car, which if he was so passionate on this, surely he would have got in first?
    His group did.
Seems the labour were solid apart from Cllr Wallace.

Of course i'm sure at the next election we will be faced with the same candidates and people will get typing against them, even though they allowed them to be elected.
