I took my family, who are on a visit to Dover at present from the Emerald Isle, to Cullins Yard last night for a meal. We walked down through the town which was compleatly littered with empty cans, empty food boxes and all sorts of rubbish. I had never seen it in such a state and they were appalled at how dirty it was. We walked through Pencester park and I just couldn't believe the state of it. When we approached the Co-Op supermarket the bins outside were overflowing and rubbish was strewn all over the car park.
The Market Square was no better and the lovely fountain all boarded up was yet another eyesore but our beautiful seafront was as lovely as ever and Cullins Yard's food was delicious.
Why is our town so dirty?
