Vic, that's exactly why I didn't give a spoiled vote, so that no vote of mine is counted among those who voted.
The 20 to 30% turnout at the County elections detracts legitimacy in the way Parliament is handling our affairs. It is a minority vote. Parliament has lost our trust.
Parliament makes sure that local Government has little or nothing to say, and cuts by 40% local Government budgets, which forces Councils to do exactly as the Government wants, which is to sign away more land for building new homes to accommodate mass immigration, in return for growth points status.
It's the only way a council can add a little revenue to its income, it's a deceitful policy of central Government, and it means that our farm and woodland will be bulldozed up and cemented over.
And yet, all taxes collected in districts and counties go to the Treasury in London, and by far exceed what comes back to us from the Treasury.
They are taking our money, and only giving a pittance back to local Government, and then telling us people what to do and what we are not allowed to do, and imposing mass-Austerity.
Hence I boycotted the vote!
