    I think some of you will have to do some research The Town Council are a large Parish council their Chairman becomes the Mayor.At District Council level a vote was taken in 2000 not to have an elected mayor.The cabinet system came in under a Labour Administration.We have already been down that road.Most parish councils are non political.
