    Interesting letter in Rail magazine today. It suggests that now is the time to straighten out the 10mph curve at the eastern end. It had been mooted in the past apparently but was dismissed because it would cause too much disruption. Given that there will be no trains for 6 months perhaps now is the time to do it. The new curve would be 35mph.
