The Dover Street Art and Graffiti Festival will take place at the Old Stagecoach Site, off Russell Street, Dover, during the weekend of 28th and 29th June 2014, from 10:00 am - 4:00pm daily.
There will be street artists demonstrating their work over the course of the weekend, but the most important and exciting aspect is the workshops we are holding, which will give people the opportunity to engage and experiment for themselves.
Street Art is one of the most popular and fastest growing forms of expressive art, often confused with graffiti, it is an economical way to communicate your imagination via shape and colour, creating pieces of work that may be interpreted in many ways.
Regardless of your age and artistic experience, please come along and try these free workshops for yourself, you never know, besides having some fun you might discover a new hobby, or even a way of life...
As well as street art workshops and demonstrations, there will be plenty of other local artists displaying their work. There will also be music and street entertainers with market stalls and food and drink outlets. We hope to create a fiesta type atmosphere, come along with all the family, entrance is free, you're sure to have an uplifting experience in the heart of Dover Town Centre.
