It is clear that the soup kitchen clientèle are on the whole well behaved and appreciative of the service the volunteers provide, there is however, much as there is not only in our local community but on a wider basis, a small hardcore of troublesome individuals. DDC seem to be prepared to disadvantage the majority of users and the volunteers for the behaviour of a few; not particularly reasonable, equitable or community minded.

I am surprised that the local constabulary have not had a presence, both to put a lid on any anti-social behaviour, but also given the town centre is an alcohol control zone. But then they do little in the rest of the town centre to control alcohol use and its predictable impacts.
