    How much longer can we go on expecting to be paid more money than we have earned and relying our children to take on our debt?

    Frankly most of us are living well beyond our means and I for one would welcome some real austerity rather than austerity-lite which we are supposedly 'suffering' under.

    (Though I note that with my Old age Pension starting in December I shall be 'taking home' more than someone on the UK median wage after tax for doing absolutely nothing! #imAllrightJack)
