    Asylum seekers are put in hostels or B&B and provided a tiny amount of assistance to meet their living costs, but are denied the opportunity to work whilst their claim is processed - something that can take up to 9 months.

    All local authorities have an obligation to provide emergency accommodation for those who are made homeless (mostly B&B, until their need is assessed and matched against what little is available).

    They are still better treated than our homeless ,elderly and families living on the line
