  Improvements to the station environment must be a good thing for Dover. I hope they can also find some money to make the station more inviting for visitors. Sign-posting the town's attractions - castle, seafront, Roman painted house, etc - and tourist information (in Japanese, Korean, etc.) Of course, the one big omission is car parking and bus connections. If we're to realise the full potential of the high-speed rail link, we need adequate car parking at the station, and integrated bus connections to encourage public transport, for both commuters and visitors alike.
