    a number of comments have come out an are very interesting,

    let me comment on a few;

    we are right to want to know about our police station and at the moment we are told there are no plans to close the police station so we have to believe it.

    on the question of P.C.S.O.s it will come as no surprize to alan taylor that i disagree with his comments, if he was true to his beliefs he would be far more even handed with his approach to policing, whilst everyone wants more police, in reality the police have to cut there cloth no different to any other organisation, now we could argue about how the police spend there budgets, but to reflect this on the role of a P.C.S.O. is a tad unfair.

    on the question of n/hood policing, im sure mr elms or others may add further but n/hood policing is a good move forward getting policing into the local communities, these can range from P.C..S.O's to PC's and more.

    it has shown that past policing which we all complained about of police riding around in cars had to change(reactive policing) and instead a more pro active working with communities moved towards.
