We are in an old building (I hate all those stairs
) and in the 6 years I have been at the shop, as far as I know, the landlord has done nothing to the building except rake in his rent money.
Not a bad little earner being an absentee landlord is it.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could be totally impractical
and restore the old style shop fronts to these lovely old buildings instead of the ugly ones that so many have.
