  The above English Heritage advert 'popped up' on my facebook site. It's great to see Dover Castles attractions being published worldwide.

  Pity English Heritage are not willing to participate in or become a proper part of the Dover community and remain in splendid fortified isolation up on the hill

  Yes, it is sad that they don't feel they want or need to be a part of the Town.
  
  There is an initiative to connect the Town to the Castle and Vice-Versa, which includes the cable-car, but I believe we shouldn't have to wait that long. I also think that any initiative would have to come from Guildford rather than locally.
