    My daughter went with her children and a friend, on being searched at security her friend had a unopened bottle of perfume and a deodorant taken from her, "IF YOU DON'T GIVE THEM UP YOU CANNOT GO IN" she gave them up rather than spoil the day for the children, she was however allowed to proceed with a half empty bottle of the sponsors Cola!! My daughter carries a epi pen for a nut allergy and it is absolutely vital to her, " NO DRUGS ALLOWED, IF YOU DO NOT GIVE IT UP YOU CANNOT GO IN" despite my daughter telling the security person she could not give it up, fortunately a nearby member of St Johns came to her aid and convinced the security person that she could not take the epi pen and my daughter was allowed in with it.
    If that is a taste of the Olympics I am glad the nearest I shall get to it is sat in front of the TV !!
