Dover Murder

A 30-year-old man has been arrested after police were called to a house in Prescott Close in Guston, near Dover, where the body of a woman was found.
Police were called at 10.15pm on Sunday (20 May 2012) and found the body of the woman, believed to be aged in her 40s, at a house. A post mortem examination is due to be held on Monday (21 May 2012)
The man, who is from Dover, was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the murder enquiry and have confirmed that the woman who died and the man in custody are known to each other.

Police were called to Waldershare Road in Sutton near Dover on Sunday evening (20 May 2012) after a car believed to belong to a missing person from Eastry was found.
Officers searched the nearby woodland and found the body of a man, believed to be aged in his 50s, at 8.55pm. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
The family of the man reported missing on Friday (18 May 2012) has been informed.

Gary Sturt (30) of Clarendon Street, Dover, appeared before magistrates in Canterbury today (Tuesday 22 May 2012) charged with the murder of his mother, Annette Sturt, aged 49, of Prescott Close, Guston near Dover. Mr Sturt was remanded in custody and is due to appear again at Maidstone Crown Court on 6 June 2012.
