  From Cinque Ports Herald (published in Dover), of April 14 1827
  
  obviously some plans were afoot for changes in the Market Square....
  
  (you may need to enlarge the second part to read). Which were the 'two houses' referred to?
  [NB The Fountain Inn referred to is the OLD Fountain Inn which stood in Market Square]
