Dover lifeboat open day
- 3 August 2013 06:21239554Just noticed on Twitter that Dover lifeboat has an open day today - 3 August. A great opportunity to pop along and support our local lifeboat and volunteers. Remember the RNLI is a charity, and receives no government funding.

They do a sterling job and no mistake, Ive seen them go out in all weathers to rescue the afflicted and they deserve a great thumbsup and more financial support.
Here is a picture of them in entertainment mode during a previous Regatta. they went by so fast as i was dithering and still fiddling with my controls..but I managed to capture some of the boat in the end..!!

- 4 August 2013 06:48239680A great set of pictures there all round Howard. Not only did you capture the Lifeboat in all its glory but you got all the visiting celebs in fine style. Delighted to see those. I see Ronnie has donned all the nautical gear for the occasion and very smart too. Clair is certainly getting out and about. By being there they will help draw attention to the Lifeboat cause. I hope it was a great day for everybody.
