Yet another article in a local rag running the town down inspired by someone who loves a good moan and their picture in said paper. I have doubts the locals ever publish something nice about Dover just more derogatory news for the nationals to latch on to.
I agree there is a lot of unnecessary rubbish but does it need promoting all over the papers, we are not the only area with a problem. Street cleaners have all but gone except for the shopping area so no wonder there is more to be seen. Not all of it is carelessly dropped a lot of it is blown by the wind from all over the place, one only has to see the result after a windy day.
Please do not think I am defending the fly tippers they can cause expensive problems for any land owner. I would like to see those offenders caught and made to clear litter for at least a month, that would be much better than a simple fine.

I have mentioned on here before
travelled around Yorkshire 2 small streets had a dickens theme festival 2days each year
coaches packed the car parks, thousands attended
car park full
they used another part of spare land for coaches!!!could you see that happening in Dover?
so full of Tourism
just returned from Spain/Portugal there they met cruise ships with tourism buses open top buses going around the town
opportunities missed?
how can other places do it
many smaller than Dover
