I agree Andrew - about the future regeneration, but I still maintain that the Town itself could be helped a lot - now.

Without encouraging a "here he goes again" set of comments, when I was the DBS Manager, I was half way through creating a proper "Plan of Action" as regards the Town's rejuvination.

It was developing into a good document that would have been used to apply for funding from various bodies.
It was incorporating all the 23 initiatives/projects I had created during last year in the lead-up to the launch of DBS in November.

Needless to say that when Cameron MacSween and Alan Shirley sacked me in March, all that stopped.

I have no idea what Spencer is doing now - he only works part-time as the Chamber of Commerce have down-graded the job to a part-time one (what an insult to Dover and all those who live here) and obviously on part-time money.

I don't know if the Town and District Councils know this though, but they have granted money on the fact that the salary was £24,000, not just £9,500 (which is exactly what the Town Council donated).

So much to do and no one to do it.

    Roger
