looking around on the net to see what is happeneing in the dover housing market
i see that there is under 5 houses left for under £100,000 for sale at the moment
for the first time buyer -----------------sure at easter you was talking of a dozen at least
wonder how many people moved to dover in the summer to take advantage of our local schools and the high speed line ?

Mines probably one of them. Been on the market for over 8 weeks now.
Had 1 viewing but nothing came of it and 1 that cancelled and was told she no
longer wanted to live in Dover.

Ian I feel your frustration. it took nearly 2 years for my house to sell in Dover, despite dropping it by a ridiculous amount. Hang in there it will happen eventually and it's a buyers market if you want to move in the town, I eventually snapped up a nice little number!

Dover is not the only place where house sales are not moving, my son in Oxfordshire has taken his house off the market as he has had only a handful of viewers after a whole year.

i can see the attraction, after all the buyers are unlikely to be woken in the night by neighbours.
from the other point of view, if they are they won't get back to sleep again!!

Agreed Peter at that hyped up price I think it will be on the market for a very long time. I would not even pay anyway near your suggested £250,000 for that 2 bed property.

That Cryptic remark was lost on Heike, Brian. Consider it a grave mistake.

indeed bob, whilst we have a play on words the property could be sold as being the dead centre of town.

Simple mathematics ,low wages equals ,,no money for expensive houses ,or high rents
Over priced accommodation and distorted earnings market equals ,,stagnant economy
