  Great stuff - that's exactly what I proposed for Dover's empty shops on this very forum a while back (God, I'm sounding like an egotistical councillor here, aren't I? Feel free to shoot me!).
  
  I seem to remember yourself, Bern, Roger and I were in accord on this; ie: filling the windows of the legion empty shops and premises with huge blown-up photos of lovely Old Dover - the Crypt, the Granada, the Odeon, Hattons, the Dover Stage, the Market Hall, county cricket at Crabble, Dover football, past pageants and events...the list is endless.
  
  Great idea. Someone tell, ahem, Dover Pride. When it comes to art, the past isn't necessarily another country.
