    The Dover Society raised this at the Port Community Forum on Tuesday.Dover harbour Board, owners of the pier, responded that such arrangements came under the Dover Sea Angling Association (DSAA) which leased the pier. The club should provide the answer.

    A spokesman for DSAA later explained “ It was originally planned that even walkers would have to pay but that idea has been changed so anyone can walk along the pier without payment. But anglers will still pay”
