  I think moving the marina into the Outer Harbour could well increase visits as it will be more accesible than the current marina. It also frees up the non-operational land around the existing marina for mixed-use development. I attended many of the early consultations and DHB were very proactive in encouraging people to come forward with ideas to maximise the potential of the beach, for example, with a lido pool. Engage in the process and see what happens, but let's not forget that the development of the port is vital to the local economy.
