More proof that everything our MP Charlie Elphicke has done for the port has been an complete and uter total failure. George Jenkins OBE, who was part of the board of the harbour board privatisation scheme, re-appointed to the board. Tim Waggot chief architect of the privatisation scheme? running the show!
Still no community directors at the port. Both the chef, Tim Waggot, and board and management and staff are exactly the same as when privatisation was put forward. No change at the port and yet Charlie boy claims everything but has done nothing at all. Appointed by Secretary of State for Transport who must be to lazy to do anything so just keep reappointing the same old cronies .
And where was Waggot whilst the port and town have been gridlocked? On an important two week work funded holiday (as one port worker put it to me!) to wine and dine the cruise ships
- 4 August 2015 22:17285095The spin doctors at DHB make Dr Goebbels look like an amateur,they have Mr Leach as their stooge to prove that they have community links which our MP plays along with to avoid getting involved himself. Messrs Waggott and Jenkins continually slap each other on the back whilst doing their utmost to destroy our pier and no doubt they have further plans that we don't know about yet.
