  of course it's up to councillors how they communicate to it's electorate.
  I tend to use quite a number of outlets, but others choose other routes, or not so many routes, it's a choice thing.
  I'm not sure about shop windows, I presume your stating cllrs shouldn't take any credit?
  or they shouldn't have a view?
  
  We should I feel encourage councillors to post, but not then slag them off because we may disagree.
  
  I fully understand these are open forums and as such you leave yourself open to abuse often by unknown persons, who may not even live locally.
