Howard the coach may have had nothing to do with rugby or the football if it turned up at half twelve. The coach for rugby turned up first around 1250 and was assisted into the rugby area by me as it is difficult to get through the inside gate.and the football coach which was a small one (30 seat's) turned up just after 1pm. It tried to get in to go up the slope which it can not do and it was turned round to park in the lay over area outside the gates that took all of two or three minutes.
Rugby might be free but sadly never gets the crowds Dover Football get. As for the football only 813, well Keith a lot of non league clubs would like 813 just ask Truro. Trouble Dover has is if we do not start playing better at home and winning the fickle supporters will not be there.
Dover have good players with a lot of league experience but they play like 11 individuals and not a team, There are no wide men, players who want to get down the wings and it is a lot of up the middle stuff. I keep saying it will come but when is the
problem. How much time will the Directors give for the manager to get it right is anyone's guess. Certainly it was not good yesterday.
