Not yet Howard, one match does not make a season but I hope he proves me wrong. Still a good win today and a couple more may see Vic back at Crabble you never know.
Vic do you mean the Chairman walked out on the game at Sutton or the last home game?. Only he would have had a job walking out of the last home game as he was not there, he was at a wedding along with a number of the club directors and if he did it at Sutton Vic he would not be following you as you were not there and he would not be saying "I'm not going any more".
The most likely reason for him being upset at Sutton apart from the way we played would have been the refs decision in the sending off.
They do train all together as a team but they train in Mid Kent to save traveling costs and of course the time from getting away from their day jobs. There are some local lads in the squad and I am sure there would be more if they were available Unlike other clubs who are surrounded by big clubs we have something called the English Channel which cuts our catchment area and our nearest big club is Gillingham so our catchment area is some what reduced. I do know the club have looked to French players but they want big money to play for us.
