  Referee was a disgrace. I have looked at the highlights several times and we should have had two penalties and what is worse is the second goal of theirs.. Mitch was fouled, by accident yes but their player goes into him while he has the ball in both hands and no one can hold onto a ball while being tossed up into the air like he was and coming down onto their neck.
  
  However it matters not that it was a foul, a serious injury means the game must stop and the goal was scored while Mitch was on the floor injured with what a lot thought could have been a broken neck, thankfully it was not.
  
  Like you SWWood I am still uptight about it but the Referee was being assessed and I am told the assessor looked at the incident on the camera after the match and he also is not happy. Does not change the result though we still lost and it was over all another game where I strikers can not score goals.
  
  Not sure why you call them "so called highlights" Vic the lad does them as a volunteer and does a dam good job of it in my opinion and I hope yesterdays goes to the Conference and FA so that the referee can be disciplined.
