  BarryW, our apologies from the Express for not covering this. We are very thin on the ground this week, but this was our mistake and a big one.
  But I'm afraid the proportion of towns with newspaper offices in them is tiny these days, and we are also certainly not Jobsworths - all we care about is getting out a good paper out that the people of Dover will like, and sometimes we fall short.
  Finally, I have been to three key council meetings in the last fortnight and not seen another reporter there.
  As I said this particular mistake was a big one but it's not because we're not working hard and not caring about the town.
