I would expect a low turnout in these elections as various whispers have it that the candidates are getting some hostility on the doorstep about the state of politics in general. The Westminster expenses scandal has permeated down to grass root level. people are sick of politics and politicians.
This willl surely result in the aforementioned low turnout, so perhaps those counting the returning papers wont have too difficult a night.
