    So far the idea is in place and the two most important factors for a successful outcome, enthusiasm and drive, have been evidenced in abundance. There is no question of DDC 'handing over' the land, rather they would be allowing its use. The land will still be there for the use of the Discovery Centre and other community uses but it would also be far more attractive, as well as being educational and therapeutic for visitors and volunteers alike.

    This afternoon there is an open meeting in the Town Council offices (Maison Dieu House - next to the Town Hall and behind the War Memorial) between 4 and 5 pm. All interested parties, especially those who would like to be involved and help move the town forward should try and be there.
