  I have just surfaced after attending Linda and Davids superb soiree.Thankyou.The food the booze and the company were all great and complimented each other for a most enjoyable afternoon.
  
  The band added to the carnival atomsphere and played with nothing more than beer and curry to keep them sustained..poor devils.
  
  Roger and his Dover Loyalty Scheme were silenced as he munched his way through 2 platefuls of Jeans lovely curry.
  
  BarryW left his politics at home but did bring his lovely wife Alison who really came to life when the Beach Boys and Abba were being blasted out from Davids computer.
  
  Barry W-S and Colette rushed over from another celebration...well that was Barrys excuse for being so thirsty.
  
  Guzzler was on parade but we were thankfully saved by from his exploits in Crimea by Humph who dragged him to one side to check that he had fed the dogs before leaving home.PaulB and Jan Tranter looking very cosy in the summer sunshine.
  
  All of this was made possible by Mandie and her team organizing a super carnival day.Gishan,Michelle and all the staff at the Ramada Hotel who made such a positive contribution to Dovers special day.
  
  Marites's feet are killing her.....she didn't realise how long the carnival procession was.
  
  But finally just a big thankyou to everyone involved.
