    That is exactly the point Howard. Ever since the days of Alan Stibbe (who turfed out those he thought undesirable) the Chamber has been somewhat elitist. When they announced that Roger was being "employed" as a business manager to encourage small businesses I thought brilliant, a great move.

    However, it seems that old ideas die hard and perhaps they don't want the hoi polloi after all. And before anyone tells me that I am out of touch I will say that I still keep my ear to the ground and I can quite categorically say that there are a number of members who are not convinced that the Chamber is forward thinking enough and does not represent them as it should.
