  What a fascinating video Richard, thank you for posting it. When you look at the comfort we travel across in these days there is no comparison and yet there's a definite romance about these old days. Loved every minute of it as did my husband who worked on the linkspan as a train driver about 25 or 30 years after the film. Wonderful stuff!

  Richard, I look forward to the day when the TSS Dover sails regularly to Boulogne during the summer with passengers who want a champagne breakfast, a 5 star lunch in Boulogne, posh afternoon tea and cocktails on the way back; aimed at City corporate entertainment market and at cruise passengers. Connection to London by steam train.
