    We seek wherever possible to give work to business inside the designated area, however we must always apply a "best value" assessment to any tender and this will not only include location of the business, but also price, where the work is actually carried out, what else they offer to the community etc.

    In the case of the printing work we have commissioned so far, the poster/handbill design was done by a local creative agency for free, the info leaflet layout was done by a different local agency for free; printing of the former was given to a Dover printer (just outside the area as they were significantly cheaper than any other quote and contribute significantly to Dover) the latter has been placed with a printer within the area (price and location decided this).
