Dover Apprentice ENROLMENTS: c.1590 - c.1890 with just a few years missing.
For some years I have been transcribing these records, from the film of some of the records (at Dover Ref Library), and original volumes (at Kent Co.Archives). It has taken much longer than I anticipated to transcribe, check and re-check, but I am pleased to say this is now completed. It is all in date order.
In a month or two I hope to hand over my finished transcript to the Kent Family History Society, for them to publish on CD if they wish. To complete my transcript, I am now working on the introduction, notes, and the format, which will take some time. It is all in date order.
In the meantime I will be happy to search the whole of the 300 or so years for any SURNAME, as it appears in these records, and list all the references for a small charge (£5) towards my expenses which can be paid by Pay Pal or sterling cheque. Initially please contact me to confirm there are some listed for the surname you are interested in.
One surname (with variations in spelling), at a time, please.
