Nick Clegg, as he always does, fell apart during detailed questioning by journalists. LibDems are just not used to detailed scrutiny.

a bit like the torys then barry.

As I have posted before, the problem is that with over 50% of the population beholden to the State, no-one dare tell the full extent of the forthcoming budget(s) which are necessary to get UK plc back on an even keel (though the Liberals have come closest to it) as there is no way you can get turkeys to vote for Christmas..
I fully expect the three wise monkeys to skirt around the elephant in the room tonight........
(enough animal metaphors already!)

if you dont expect an outright win its easy to say more. Problem is the LibDem figures are not 'costed' as they like people to think and keep changing their story - see my blog.
When declining to take part in a similar event with Ted Heath, Harold Wilson was heard to say "we don't elect a President, we elect a Government". Wise words indeed.
To me, this event is more for the media than anyone else as advertising revenues will be huge for the t.v. companies.

only 6 million viewers tuned in, i doubt that the advertising revenue would have been that great.
