Some of the threads have got themselves tied up around religion, apart from one poster who is clear where he is coming from, and heavily into religion, the vast majority have lots of differing views.
For me, I went through all the catholic schools, did it help me? well in the strict upbringing at home, and teaching of right from wrong, I suppose this put me on the right track.
Unfortunatly like we see in most religions there are bad apples, and sadly I came across quite a few in my time who called themselves Christians, when in fact they sinned mon to sat, went to confession to have there sins forgiven mass sunday
then did it all again mon to sat.
then theres the kids sexually assaulted by priests
to my own experiences which were not that good.
talking with others who went through other catholic backgrounds they had very similar issues which was interesting that it was quite widespread.
This didn't turn me off religion, but got me to respect everyones point of view
not push religion onto people
interesting world though.
