It's just been pointed out in the French press, that one of the instigators of this law ownes the company that has exclusive rights to make and distribute these breathtests in France ! He is set to make millions.

last month a new law came into being in france banning the use of satellite navigation systems that detect the location of speed cameras.
if caught a fine of 1500 euros is imposed regardless of whether it is in use or not.
