    No one allows people to die just so they can take a piece for someone else, it really doesn't work like that.

    As Jan says, it would a hell of a difference to those waiting for a transplant, if people had to opt out of donorship, rather than opting in.

    You are also so right Jan that relatrives can go against the donors wishes after they've died.

    It's the spirit and memory that lives on, not the flesh and if the flesh (body parts) can be used to keep someone else alive, or make their life worth living, that is what must be done.
