Those born in 1980 would have been nine when the 90's came along. Those born around 1970 will be about 40 years old by now, yet it is they who would know most about 80's dance crazes etc.
I watched the documentary on the Festival of Britain held in 1951 the other night and the lesson from that time is that what impresses the youth of any age is the FUTURE, their future.
Where is the vision of what Dover shall be?

Victorian Toys? What fun indeed could yet be had with only an iron hoop and a stick to play with...after a hard day up some chimney or other.

they are always an attraction(saw them at the regatta), more people would have walked down to market square if they had known they were there.
